In 2010 in Riverside CA Salynn Simon created Events with a Kick as the ideal vendor for you next event. The idea behind the company was to service an area that had only one certified event coordinator in the area and to build the community. As a graduate from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) in 2005 Salynn fell in love with her event marketing class. After graduation Salynn worked for Alcone Marketing in Irvine CA as their event coordinator. She traveled the United States executing specialized events with key products. After working there for three years she decided she wanted something more and wanted to create. All the logistical knowledge from working events in every corner of the country she decided to open her own business. Executing several large scaled events for the City and non profit organizations, she finds her passion to be weddings. “Weddings bring people in the light of the purest joy two people will share together” Salynn says.
